REPUBLIC DAY

BLS International School hosted 71st Republic Day celebrations on the eve of 26th January, 2020 in the school premises. The programme was a rainbow sprinkle of various cultural activities which touched the patriotic nerve of students and teachers alike. The event was organized to welcome in advance the onslaught of powerful feelings towards our nation. The programme kickstarted with the national song Vande Mataram, followed by the pledge delivered by the Head Boy of the school. The March Past team followed suit and demonstrated a stringent drill. Next in line was the group song which soothed the senses. School’s TGT Hindi Mr. Manan Bhardwaj delivered a speech in Hindi to stir the patriotic fervor in the audience. A spectacular dance performance was also lined up and thrilled the crowd. The programmed ended with the principal’s address followed by the national anthem. Ma’am Principal urged the students to work towards development and also discussed with them the importance of our Constitution. The programme was indeed a success and was applauded by everyone. Principal ma’am along with staff took a pledge to vote and contribute for the progress of the nation
